This event took place between 3rd and 7th November 2009, commencing in Arbroath, Angus - the home of 45 Commando Group Royal Marines - and completing at the Commando Memorial at Spean Bridge.
The event pushed all participants to their physical limit, demonstrating the same qualities required in their formative years of training and service in commando units. The march involved movement by road and cross-country covering 210 miles over 5 days, carrying 30lbs.
The aim was and still is to generate funds to be used in support of physically and psychologically wounded Royal Marines and their families. All monies raised will go to The Royal Marines Benevolent Fund (registration number 1069059).
